![]() Personally i find it ridiculous if people sh't about this issue here, while they are ready to give away similar (ridiculously) much money for other stuffs from other Online-Games, pre-orderly, without playing a bit of stuff before. If you want to attack PGI, then simply do it in a PM (if you think it would help) But sh'tting so much around here at doesn't resolve anything. If you do want to spend money 6 months before, then you should know, if it's worth your money. Blame yourself, that you are not a Millionaire! If you can't wait for the C-Bill Sale, then don't blame PGI. No one forces you to buy those pre-order packs! You do it for the extra bonus stuffs and to play your Clan-Mechs earlier than the f2p-gamers. And if you don't want to spend any money 6months before, then simply wait for the C-Bills Sale. Or Is it only because of the $500 Gold-Packs? Yes, it sounds greedy, but you are not forced to buy these limited Gold-Editions to play MWO. Where is your problem? Did you expect something else from PGI? Now you get similar packs for similar money. Prices are not really much more than the Hero-Mech Prices, which many many of you accepted in the past. If you were ok with buying Hero Mechs for the (imo) expensive prices in the past, then i don't understand why you start to sh*t so much now. That's something inbetween the Costs of Heavy Metal and the Boar's Head. The simple fact that I can 'immerse' myself in the BT/MW universe, easier, playing a MW or MC game from literally fifteen years ago, and feel more entrenched in that world than MWO ever came close to, says everything. THAT is the big joke, the tragedy of this game. It's still meaningless, cuz HORSE isn't fucking nba basketball. ![]() ![]() It's like if I took basketball bought the licensing rights to make an NBA game, but reduce it to nothing but a H-O-R-S-E experience, where you can buy player models like LeBron James for $200, and make approximately 5% more of your shots. That is a shame to me.īut the biggest joke of all, is that PGI has taken something incredibly grandiose in scale and scope and size, and simply reduced it to a casual deathmatch with zero content to show for all of the 'lore' there (which is deeper than, lets face it, basically any other 'game world' you can think of). If you aren't paying triple figures, your experience is being dampened severely in comparison to people willing to shell out the cash. It occured to me in our conversation - I actually don't even want to play a game with other people who are willing to spend triple figures for what they perceive as an opportunity to gain an advantage - and that advantage isn't about 'p2w' it's about gaining the truest experience. Had a great time last night making fun of this entire thing with a gamer friend who never thought this game was going anywhere. ![]()
